No seams. No glue. LEMUR use as few materials as possible and there are no hidden tricks behind the way that the Wallet is built. No extra padding to make a soft material feel stiff or lining to hide a badly finished surface. This is what we call a “What You See Is What You Get” approach that favours honesty letting the materials and hardware visible in all their glory.
One single piece of leather or recycled leather and two snaps. That’s it.
This also allows the wallet to adapt to whichever amount of cards, bills or coins you need to store. Once the leather softens it will be able to store more. Don’t need that much ? No worries, the leather folds will flatten and maintain a thin profile.
Founded in 2014 by Danish Designer Nanna Ringsing and Portuguese Architect Fernando Vale, LEMUR is a design studio/brand based in Portugal with a mission: to create locally produced, high-quality products that are both functional and affordable.
